A: No. Firmware updates are free for life — there's no recurring subscription fee after purchase, unlike some car-brand subscription models.
Q: Who pays for return shipping, and is proof required?
A: If the product itself has a defect, we will provide you with a prepaid return label.

Q: Is it possible to mirror the in-car display and the iPhone 15 Pro?
A: Tbox is a full Android system and cannot mirror your phone's screen — just like you can't cast an iPhone screen to an Android phone.

A: Yes — Tbox is a full Android system. With a 4G SIM or WiFi connection, you can use any app available within the Google ecosystem, including maps, browsers, video, and music apps.
Q: Can I control everything from the steering wheel buttons or in-car joystick?
A: This depends on whether your vehicle supports these controls when using wired CarPlay.
Q: Can I listen to the car radio and use CarPlay at the same time?
A: No — CarPlay takes over the car's playback system through its signal channel, so both can't run simultaneously. This is the same limitation as not being able to use FM radio while CarPlay is active.
Q: Does it come with a remote, or can I use my phone as one?

Installed my Carlinkit with ExplorOz, and everything loaded perfectly. It was my first time using an Android device, so I had to learn a few tricks, but everything worked great.
It starts automatically and turns my car stereo into a full 360° entertainment system. Highly recommended! The only minor issue is that it always needs to connect to my phone’s hotspot, as it doesn’t connect automatically.
