How to confirm whether the car is supported or not?
If your model has OEM factory wired carplay, then there is no doubt that the unit works with this model.
If not, make sure that two points, then the unit supports your model.
1.There’s already wired Apple-Carplay installed from the factory or upgraded through your dealer and you’re getting its functions.
2.There is a USB-A port in your car model.
Note: The product supports almost 98% of models which are with wired Apple-Carplay andUSB-A port, but it’s not all. We will further test more models and collect more market feedback to improve the list of supported models.
Differences between version 1.0 and 2.0?
Performance:
Version 2.0 is with 5.8G HZ certification module, has higher adaptability for 98% of vehicle models.
Appearance:
Version 2.0 is with indicator light design.
The cables and adapters of version 2.0 are detachable, while version 1.0 is integrated and undetachable.
Will it work with my iPhone?
Yes, it works on every iPhone 5 (running iOS 9+) and newer system.
Note: This unit doesn’t support the android system.
How do I use the wireless dongle?
There are easy-to-follow 4 steps to convert your factory-wired car play to wireless. No need to plug in and out the data cable to connect the phone when you get on the car!
1.As a plug-and-play solution, the Carlinkit adapter is very easy to install.
2.Plug the wireless carplay adapter into the car USB port. Wait for the interface to appear on the screen.
3.Open wifi networks and Bluetooth. Make sure your phone is not connected to any other WiFi or Bluetooth networks.
4.Select “Pair” on your phone when the notification appears.
NOTE:You can also search for the iPhone’s Bluetooth name on the car screen, to pair and connect.
How do I update the wireless adapter for factory carplay?
The iPhone’s Wifi connects to an adapter.
Input 192.168.50.2 in the browser.
If you see an update available, click it.
Wait until the update bar reaches 100%.
When CarPlay reappears on the screen, you make it!
